We encourage associates to take on as much responsibility as they can and to embrace our values of excellence and respect.
Most associates start work in either our New York or Menlo Park office. Each arriving associate is able to choose the department that he or she wishes to join–corporate, litigation, tax or trusts and estates in New York, and corporate or litigation in Menlo Park. Many corporate lawyers often rotate to one of our overseas offices–London, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, Tokyo, Beijing or Hong Kong.
Partners are actively involved in advancing the careers of associates, and we also have a full-time director of professional development who is available, along with her staff, to work with each associate to help define and promote each associate’s professional development.
