Ms. Xu is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Corporate Department and works in the Hong Kong office. Since joining Davis Polk in 2002, she has advised clients on corporate finance transactions and provided general corporate advice. She was part of the team advising OMV AG, an integrated Central European oil and gas company, in connection with a global share and convertible notes offering; the Federal Republic of Germany on its first foreign currency bond issue; Jerini AG, a drug discovery and development company, in connection with its initial public offering in Germany; and DIC Asset AG, a German real estate company, in connection with its capital increase and public offering in Germany. Most recently, she advised on the rights offering by Linde AG to finance its acquisition of BOC plc.

Ms Xu has also worked on merger and acquisition transactions, including the merger of BTI Telecom with ITC DeltaCom. She was part of the team advising Cargill in connection with its acquisition of the food ingredients unit of Degussa.

She graduated from Zhejiang University in 1997 and in 2002 received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Albany Law School. Ms. Xu is admitted to the bar of New York. She is a native speaker of Chinese and fluent in German.
