Ms. Stan is a law clerk in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Corporate Department and is assigned to the Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Since joining Davis Polk in 2007, she has completed a rotation in the Capital Markets Group.

Ms. Stan graduated, with honors and the Firestone Medal for Excellence in Research, from Stanford University in 2002 and in 2003 received her M.Sc., with merit, from the London School of Economics (United Kingdom). In 2007, she received her J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School, where she was an editor of the Cornell Law Review and the recipient of the Excellence Award in Civil Procedure and the Certificate of Concentration in Business Law and Regulation. Ms. Stan also received a Master in Law from the Université de Paris I Panthéon – La Sorbonne (France), and a Master from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) (France). She is a native speaker of Romanian and fluent in French.
