Ms. Myers is counsel in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Financial Institutions Group. She joined Davis Polk in 1997 and practiced in the New York office from 1997 to 1999 and from 2004. She has broad U.S. and international experience advising financial institutions on public and private capital markets offerings, regulatory matters and corporate governance. She also advises global financial institutions in connection with hybrid capital and other structured finance transactions. She has been resident in the London and Paris offices.

Ms. Myers has experience with international equity and debt offerings and structured finance transactions. Recent transactions include participating in structured note offerings for Deutsche Bank AG and capital-raising and corporate advisory activities for PartnerRe and The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. Other transactions include advising the underwriters in connection with hybrid (Tier 1) securities issued by American International Group, The Travelers Companies, Nationwide Financial Services, Reinsurance Group of America, UBS AG and Danske Bank A/S, advising Fortis in connection with the initial public offering and follow-on offering of its U.S. insurance operations and Fortis’ innovative €1.25 billion “Fresh” capital securities offering and advising the underwriters on the €4.45 billion rights offering for Allianz AG.

Ms. Myers is admitted to the bar of New York.

Ms. Myers graduated from Brown University in 1991 and in 1997 received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was articles editor of the Columbia-VLA Journal for Law & the Arts, a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a Solomon Foundation Fellow.
