Mr. Rooney is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Litigation Department. He joined Davis Polk in 2004.

Mr. Rooney graduated, summa cum laude, from Rutgers College in 2000 and in 2003 received his J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the Georgetown Law Journal. He clerked for the Honorable James R. Zazzali, New Jersey Supreme Court, from 2003 to 2004. He is admitted to the bars of New York and New Jersey. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.
