Mr. Sussman is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Tax Department. Since joining Davis Polk in 2005, he has completed a rotation in the Derivatives Group, the Capital Markets Group and the Mergers and Acquisitions Group.

In 2005, Mr. Sussman simultaneously received his B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Columbia College and J.D. from Columbia Law School. At the law school, he was a James Kent Scholar, a Milbank Law and Economics Fellow, a Hamilton Fellow and a recipient of the Class of 1912 (Contracts) Prize. He also served as the teaching fellow for Professor Victor Goldberg and Dean David Schizer’s course, “Deals: the Economic Structure of Complex Transactions.” Mr. Sussman passed the CFA Level I Exam (June 2007) and Level II Exam (June 2008). He is admitted to the bar of New York.
