Ms. Harris is a member of Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Litigation Department. She has extensive experience representing corporate clients in a variety of criminal, regulatory, and complex civil matters. Among other matters, she is currently national counsel for a major pharmaceutical company in nationwide litigation relating to drug pricing and reimbursement, including a federal multidistrict class action, several state court class actions and numerous lawsuits brought by state Attorneys General in courts across the country. Ms. Harris also serves as national coordinating counsel for the defendant companies in those actions.
Other recent representations include a leading specialty biopharmaceutical company in connection with litigation in Delaware Chancery Court arising from an acquisition; the audit committee of an auto parts manufacturer in connection with an internal investigation, as well as related criminal and regulatory investigations by the federal government; a major investment bank in connection with criminal and regulatory investigations of the bank’s IPO allocation practices; and a former director of the New York Stock Exchange in connection with an investigation by the New York Attorney General and the SEC.
Ms. Harris joined Davis Polk in 1997 and became counsel in 2006. She became a partner in 2007.
Ms. Harris graduated, magna cum laude, from Harvard College in 1992 and in 1996 received her J.D. from Yale Law School. She clerked for the Honorable Charles S. Haight Jr., U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, from 1996 to 1997. She is admitted to the bars of New York and Connecticut. She is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First and Fourth Circuits and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
