Mr. Shin is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Corporate Department and works in the Hong Kong office. He joined Davis Polk in 2006.

Mr. Shin graduated from Yale University in 1998 and in 2001 received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was notes editor of the Columbia Journal of Asian Law and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He clerked in the Supreme Court of Korea. National Court Administration, Judicial Policy Office, from 2004 to 2006. He is admitted to the bar of New York. Mr. Shin is a native speaker of Korean and proficient in Spanish.

Before joining Davis Polk, he worked as a corporate associate in the New York office of Winston & Strawn from 2001 to 2004.
