Mr. Liss is counsel in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Litigation Department. His practice includes general litigation, legal ethics, professional responsibility, securities law, constitutional law, antitrust law, public utilities law and insurance law.

Mr. Liss joined Davis Polk in 1977.

He graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1973 and in 1976 received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he was the notes editor for the law review. He clerked for the Honorable Arlin M. Adams, U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, from 1976 to 1977. He is admitted to the bar of New York.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Council and the New York City Bar.
