Mr. Flynn is a member of Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Litigation Department. He has extensive experience in a variety of bankruptcy, commercial and securities litigation. Mr. Flynn has recently represented major accounting firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte and KPMG, in securities and professional liability actions. He also recently defended Compaq Computer Corporation and other defendants in class action securities cases, represented the Fifth Circuit Judicial Council in connection with an investigation of judicial misconduct and related proceedings, and has represented corporate defendants in a variety of other commercial litigations and government investigations by the SEC and the Department of Justice.
Mr. Flynn also has represented the agent bank for the senior secured lenders in the Vlasic bankruptcy proceedings and related fraudulent conveyance litigation, and the official committee of commercial creditors in the Dow Corning bankruptcy case. He has also represented professionals in connection with bankruptcy retention issues, as well as other creditors in bankruptcy matters.
Mr. Flynn joined Davis Polk in 1994 and became counsel in 2001. In 2004, he became a partner of the firm.
Mr. Flynn graduated, cum laude, from Princeton University in 1990 and in 1993 received his J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from New York University School of Law, where he was a member of the law review.
