Ms. Sankovitch is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Corporate Department and is assigned to the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Group. She joined Davis Polk in 2007.

Ms. Sankovitch graduated from Yale University in 1982, received her M.A. from Northwestern University in 1986 and in 1992, received her Ph.D. from Stanford University. In 1998, she received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law. She is admitted to the bars of New York and California. She is fluent in French and proficient in Russian. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York City Bar.

Before joining Davis Polk, Ms. Sankovitch was an assistant professor at Ohio Wesleyan University from 1992 to 1995, and an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett from 1999 to 2004 and at Schulte Roth & Zabel from 2004 to 2007.

She is author of “Creating and Recovering Experience: Repetition in Tolstoy,” Stanford University Press, 1998.
