Mr. Wilson is a member of Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Corporate Department in London. Over the past 12 years, he has practiced in the London, Menlo Park and New York offices, representing corporate clients and financial institutions in U.S. domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. He has also been active in the formation and operation of Davis Polk’s Global Technology Group.

In the capital markets area, Mr. Wilson has worked on public offerings, including convertible and high-yield debt and equity offerings, for a variety of U.S. and international companies, including Aer Lingus, Ardagh Glass, CAI International, CBS, Comcast, Getty Images, Jomed, Old Mutual, Oracle, Revlon, SAIC and Seagate. In the mergers and acquisitions area, he has worked on a variety of public transactions representing Cincinnati Bell, IBM, Jones Apparel, Lucent Technologies, MCI Worldcom and Regus. He has also worked on a variety of acquisition financings for JPMorgan Chase and debt and equity restructurings for ICI.

He joined Davis Polk in 2000 and became a partner in 2002. Mr. Wilson practiced in the London office from 2000 to 2004 and the Menlo Park office from 2004 to 2006.

Mr. Wilson worked as an associate at Linklaters & Paines in London from 1993 to 1995 and at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York from 1995 to 2000.

Mr. Wilson received his LL.B., with first class honors and a Gold Medal, from Trinity College, Dublin, in 1989, where he was elected a Foundation Scholar in 1987. At Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, he was awarded the W.M. Tapp Scholarship in 1989 and in 1990 received his LL.M., with first class honors, and was elected Senior Scholar.
