Mr. Lamb is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Corporate Department and works in the Menlo Park office. Since joining Davis Polk in 2005, Mr. Lamb has worked on mergers, acquisitions, public and private securities offerings and other corporate transactions, with a focus on transactions involving energy and technology companies. Matters he has worked on include advising various underwriters on the initial public offerings of DivX, Monotype Imaging Holdings, Kaiser Aluminum and Novacea, as well as numerous debt and equity offerings by Great Plains Energy and Kansas City Power & Light; Vector Capital and Francisco Partners in various proposed acquisitions; E*Trade in debt and equity offerings; and ClearEdge Power in a private financing and on various general corporate matters. He has also advised El Paso Electric and Photon Dynamics on various public reporting and corporate governance matters.

Mr. Lamb graduated, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998 and in 2005 received his J.D. from Stanford Law School. While at Stanford, Mr. Lamb worked as a research fellow at Stanford’s Program on Energy and Sustainable Development. He is admitted to the bar of California.

Before joining Davis Polk, Mr. Lamb was an associate at the venture capital fund Arcadia Partners from 2000 to 2002 and worked in the project finance group of Hunton & Williams in Hong Kong from 1998 to 2000.
