Mr. Young is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Corporate Department and works in the London office. Since joining Davis Polk in 2004, he has completed a rotation in the Derivatives Group and the Mergers and Acquisitions Group.

Mr. Young received his B.A. and LL.B., with first class honors, from the University of Otago in 2001, where he was a tutor of law from 2000 to 2001. In 2004 he received his LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where he received the Laylin Prize. He clerked for the Right Honorable Dame Sian Elias, Chief Justice of New Zealand, from 2002 to 2003. He is admitted to the bar of New York and the High Court of New Zealand. Mr. Young was editor in chief of the New Zealand Students’ Law Journal from 2002 to 2005 and a member of the New Zealand Council of Legal Education from 2001 to 2004.
