Mr. Ruland is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Tax Department. He joined Davis Polk in 2007.

Mr. Ruland graduated, with distinction, from the University of Michigan Business School in 2003 and in 2006 received his J.D., cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Michigan Law School. He clerked for the Honorable Cornelia G. Kennedy, U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, from 2006 to 2007. He is admitted to the bar of New York.
