Mr. Gill is a member of Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Corporate Department. He has advised borrowers as well as lenders on a number of bank and bond deals. Recent representations include ICICI Bank Limited in connection with a $300 million commercial paper program, JPMorgan Chase in connection with a $400 million secured credit facility for Kindred Healthcare, Delta Air Lines in connection with a $350 million debtor-in-possession financing arrangement with American Express, SITEL Corporation in connection with first and second lien credit facilities, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank in connection with approximately $1 billion and €450 million in multi-series bridge financings for Celanese, and Bank of America in connection with a $2.1 billion exit financing for Conesco. Mr. Gill has also represented Francisco Partners, one of the world’s largest technology-focused investment firms, and various of its portfolio companies.

He joined Davis Polk in 1998 and became a partner in 2004.

Mr. Gill received a Bachelor of Laws, first class honors, and a Bachelor of Information Technology, first class honors, from Bond University, Australia, both in 1994. In 1995, he received a Master of Law from Cambridge University, England. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the bar of New York.

Before joining Davis Polk, he was an assistant professor at Bond University, Gold Coast, Australia, from 1995 to 1996, and an associate with Allen Allen & Hemsley, Sydney, Australia, from 1996 to 1998.
