Ms. Smith is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Litigation Department. She joined Davis Polk in 2005.
Ms. Smith graduated, Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude, from Hofstra University in 2001 and in 2004 received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law, where she was editor in chief of the Hofstra Law Review. She clerked for the Honorable Irene M. Keeley, U.S. District Court, Northern District of West Virginia, from 2004 to 2005. She is admitted to the bar of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Ms. Smith is author of “Conference on Marriage, Families and Democracy: Foreward,” 32 Hof. L. Rev. 23 (2003) and “Early Neutral Evaluation in Divorce Cases,” 42 Fam. Ct. Rev. 321 (2004).
