Ms. Katz is a member of Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Litigation Department. She represents clients in general litigation matters, with particular emphasis on federal securities law and professional malpractice.

Ms. Katz joined Davis Polk in 1982, became a senior attorney in 1990, and was elected to the partnership in 1997.

Ms. Katz graduated from the New School for Social Research in 1971 and in 1975 received an M.S. from the Columbia University School of Social Work. She received her J.D., summa cum laude, in 1981 from Brooklyn Law School, where she was a member of the law review. She clerked for the Honorable Thomas C. Platt, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York, from 1981 to 1982.
