Ms. West is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Litigation Department and works in the Menlo Park office. She was an associate at Davis Polk from 2003 to 2004 and rejoined Davis Polk in 2005. Since joining Davis Polk in 2003, Ms. West has represented clients in a variety of securities, employment, white collar criminal, antitrust and professional liability matters. Her recent representations include an antitrust action involving pricing practices in the pharmaceutical industry, the defense of a Midwestern newspaper in a breach of contract and trade secrets suit, several global securities class-action lawsuits, and various internal investigations into stock option backdating practices. In her pro bono practice, she has worked on multiple immigration matters, including one in which she helped secure asylum for a Guinean national subject to political persecution in his native land.

Ms. West graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Arizona in 2000 and in 2003 received her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she was a member of the Stanford Law Review. She clerked for the Honorable Sandra L. Townes, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York, from 2004 to 2005. She is admitted to the bars of California, the U.S. District Court for the Ninth Circuit and New York. Ms. West is proficient in Spanish.
