Mr. Tyshow is an associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Corporate Department and works in the Madrid office. Since joining Davis Polk in 2002, he has worked on numerous capital markets and business combination transactions. Among his recent equity capital markets transactions, he has advised issuers or underwriters in Spain on numerous initial public offerings, including those of Fadesa, Corporación Dermoestética, Parquesol, Grifols, Vocento, Vueling Airlines, Realia, Laboratorios Almirall, Fluidra and Laboratorios Farmacéuticos Rovi, among others. Among his many recent debt capital markets transactions, he has advised on the first debt issuance by a Spanish issuer under Spain’s new withholding tax rules and the first SEC-registered debt transaction by a Spanish issuer in more than five years. He also advises on corporate governance and other regulatory corporate matters.

He worked in the New York office from 2002 to 2003, in the Paris office from 2003 to 2005 and in the Madrid office since 2005.

Mr. Tyshow graduated, with first class honors, from the London School of Economics with a B.Sc. in International Relations in 1999 and in 2002 received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was the submissions review editor of the Virginia Journal of International Law. He is admitted to the bar of New York. Mr. Tyshow is a U.S. Army veteran and is proficient in Spanish, French and Russian.

He is the co-author, with Margaret Tahyar, of the chapter on United States securities regulation in the European Lawyer’s Securities World – Jurisdictional Comparisons reference series.
