We often work on offerings with unique issues and maintain regular contact with all divisions and levels of the SEC.
Our lawyers have advised on some of the largest and most significant initial public offerings in recent history, including 5 of the top 20 IPOs worldwide since 1996 (no other law firm has worked on more). A substantial portion of our recent IPO work has been with technology companies. In 2003, we advised on seven IPOs, including two where we represented the semiconductor company issuer: AMIS Holdings' $600 million IPO and NPTest Holding Corporation's $175 million IPO.
We have assisted technology companies in capital raising, not only in initial public offerings but also in later-stage financings, in which we have been particularly innovative. We continue to be at the forefront of capital markets innovation through our work on complex derivatives and other structured products that allow clients to hedge risk and monetize illiquid assets.
